Exchange with other hazelnut actors
Happy Hazelnut was one of the first initiatives set up to combat child labour in the hazelnut sector in Turkey. Fortunately, numerous actors are now committed to promoting sustainability in the sector. Only together can we effectively tackle the challenges in the entire sector.
We are in regular contact with other stakeholders in and outside of Turkey to learn with and from each other. yourharvest AG, as a co-founder of the Happy Hazelnut Foundation, is a member of the Rainforest Advisory Committee for the hazelnut program. This committee is actively committed to the further development of the Rainforest standard.
