Inauguration of the new accomodation building in Paşalar

​Just before the beginning of the harvest in August 2015, the new accommodation building was opened in a ceremony witnessed by migrant workers, farmers, local politicians, founders and supporting member companies.  Forty migrant workers and their families found a home during the harvesting season here.
 
During this occasion, the building was handed over to the local farmer community of Paşalar. After the harvest, they are responsible for the management of the building under the supervision of the Happy Hazelnut Foundation. They can use the building for other purposes such as cultural and social event.

The project is so far confined to a clearly defined area of the municipality of «Paşalar». It is a declared goal of Varistor and  ISIK Tarim to extend this pilot project to other communities.
